Ching Liu, MTOM, LAc (CA), LMT
Ching Liu has over fifteen years of experience in holistic health. He received his Master's in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM) Summa Cum Laude from Emperor's College in Santa Monica, CA. Prior to that, he trained extensively in a variety of somatic therapies at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing in Culver City, CA.
Ching believes that a happy, peaceful heart and a strong digestive system are both crucial to creating lasting health. As such, he specializes in working with psycho-emotional (including addiction and trauma), stress-induced, and digestive issues. He also has a great deal of experience and success in working with chronic pain, women's health and fertility, and allergies. However, since Chinese Medicine emphasizes balancing the entire body, he can and has helped people with many more health issues, including diabetes, asthma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and obesity.
For allergies in particular, Ching is certified in Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques (NAET). NAET is a gentle and natural technique that can quickly and permanently eliminate any immune overreactions, including seasonal, environmental, and food allergies.
In Los Angeles, Ching was a Licensed Acupuncturist for over eleven years. In addition, he was a Professor and the Faculty Chair of the Acupuncture Department, English Section, at SCU-SOMA. He has also taught at Emperor's College, SAMRA University, and Dongguk University. Here in Maine, he is still working on getting his acupuncture license. In the meantime, he is helping people improve their health using acupressure, and getting comparable results.
